WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We never collect information from your device via the Karping app or website without your explicit consent.
Admins - You must provide your mobile phone number, profile name and email address to create KarPing account. If you don’t provide us with this information, you will not be able to create an account to use our Services. You can add other information to your account if necessary to update in your profile information.
Users – Name, phone number. No other information is needed for Karping App. The specific types of information we receive and gather depend on your utilization of our Services. We require particular data to effectively deliver our Services, and without it, we cannot furnish them to you. For instance, creating an account to utilize our Services necessitates providing your mobile phone number, profile name and email address.
Additional Information – Our Services offer optional features that may require the collection of additional information (like address, location, profile picture, Building name, contact name) to facilitate their functionality. You will receive notifications regarding such data collection, as appropriate. Opting out of providing the necessary information for utilizing a feature will result in the inability to access that feature. For instance, you cannot share your location with contacts unless you authorize us to collect your device's location data. Permissions can be managed via the Settings menu on both Android and iOS devices.
HOW IS PERSONAL INFORMATION USED?
Your personal information is collected for specific purposes related to any contracts between us. It may be utilized to enhance customer service, personalize user experiences, improve the Service, process payments, send communications, conduct contests or surveys, or for other specified purposes. We offer end-to-end encryption for our Services. End-to-end encryption means that your information given to create an account are encrypted to protect against us and third parties
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway provider.
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Karping operates globally, which means the personal data mentioned (as per this privacy policy) may be transferred, stored (for example, in a data center), and processed outside of the country or region where it was initially collected where Karping or its service providers have customers or facilities.
All information going in and out of the app and website is 256 bit https encrypted. TLS encryption is used throughout the application for data in motion and data is also encrypted at rest. All information is stored in servers with best in class firewalls and needs multiple authentications for any access.
Therefore, by using Karping products and services or providing personal data (as per this privacy policy) for any of the purposes stated above, you acknowledge that your personal data may be transferred to or stored where we are established, as well as in other countries outside of the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK. Such countries may have data protection rules that are different and less protective than those of your country.
We protect your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Statement wherever it is processed and take appropriate contractual or other steps to protect it under applicable laws. Where personal data of users in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK is being transferred to a recipient located in a country outside the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK which has not been recognized as having an adequate level of data protection, we ensure that the transfer is governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Karping operates on live camera feed and no data is retained or stored.
Proactive Security Alerts – We prompt you to verify your identify if we detect any suspicious or unauthorized attempts to take over your account.

We use no essential cookies for the Service. We do not have any provision or collect information for internal use.
LOCATION INFORMATION
We collect and use precise location information from your device with your permission when you choose to use location related feature, like when you decide to share your location with your contacts or view locations nearby or locations others have shared with you. There are certain settings relating to location-related information which you can find in your device settings or the in-app settings, such as location sharing. Even if you do not use our location-related features, we use IP addresses and other information like phone number area codes to estimate your general location (e.g., city and country). We also use your location information for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes.

Karping may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Services, or any parts of the Services, with or without notice. You agree that any suspension and/or termination of your access to the Services may be affected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that Karping may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account (including any registration data and personal information) and/or bar any further access to such files or the Services. You further agree that Karping shall not be liable to you or to any other person as a result of any such suspension or termination. If you are dissatisfied with the Services or with any terms, conditions, rules, policies, guidelines, or practices of Karping in operating the Services, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the Services.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OR ANY GUARANTEE OR ASSURANCE THE SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR THAT ALL PRODUCTS, FEATURES, FUNCTIONS OR OPERATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE OR PERFORM AS DESCRIBED. Without limiting the foregoing, we are not responsible or liable for any malicious code, delays, inaccuracies, errors, or omissions arising out of your use of the Services. You understand, acknowledge and agree that you are assuming the entire risk as to the quality, accuracy, performance, timeliness, adequacy, completeness, correctness, authenticity, security and validity of any and all features and functions of the Service, including, without limitation, the Content or Submitted Content associated with your use of the Services.

KARPING MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT: (i) THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; (ii) THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE; (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS; OR (v) THAT THIS WEBSITE, ITS CONTENT, AND THE SERVERS ON WHICH THE WEBSITE, MOBILE APP AND CONTENT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
c. ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICES IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR ELECTRONIC DEVICE OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL.
d. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM KARPING OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICES SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
e. THE SERVICES MAY CONTAIN VARIOUS COMBINATIONS OF TEXT, IMAGES, AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTIONS, OPINIONS, STATEMENTS, FACTS, ARTICLES, MARKET DATA, OR OTHER INFORMATION CREATED BY US OR BY THIRD PARTIES. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF SOURCES FROM WHICH CONTENT IN THE SERVICES IS OBTAINED, AND THE INHERENT HAZARDS OF ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION, THERE MAY BE DELAYS, OMISSIONS OR INACCURACIES IN SUCH CONTENT. YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT NEITHER KARPING NOR ANY OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES, DIVISIONS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS SHALL BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF KARPING HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICES; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THE SERVICES. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST KARPING AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, DIVISIONS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND LICENSORS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES AND THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE THEREON.
